The Railway Club is one of the best bars in Vancouver to find local talent. Off the beaten path in downtown Vancouver, most people who venture down to the Railway Club either have friends playing, are followers of a small bearded band on tour or came after work and are open to whatever turns up on stage.

The Railway Club is a hidden gem in the downtown business core that gets quite sleepy at night. It’s quite unassuming sitting beside a 7 Eleven with only a chalk scratched sandwich board outside acting as promotion to venture up to the 2nd storey bar. However inside the Railway Club stretches the good length of the corner building with two small rooms at either end of a long bar providing space for small groups and stage.

Most nights the Railway club hosts live music acts and the cover is generally around $10-$15 after 9ish. A perfect locale for the casual and low key crowd that enjoys live entertainment.
