Located in Gastown, the Irish Heather is a local favorite for beer drinkers. This Irish pub started off as a small watering hole but over the years gained a great reputation and loyal following that often couldn’t accommodate the weekend flow.
Now, the Irish Heather sits across the street from it’s original location with a more stylish tavern look and plenty more room to accommodate the Irish Heather love. And you can’t help but love it – the staff are always friendly and great on service. They also serves up some great hearty pub food to pair up an ample selection of beer and whiskey.
Their attached Salty Tongue Cafe is a long and narrow room with one 48 seat table that stays open at night with a full liquor license. At the back, the “Shebeen” room is a quieter spot to enjoy drinks with friends.
The Irish Heather is truly a never fail place to enjoy some food and drink and always on the top of the list for great Vancouver pubs!
