The Biltmore Cabaret is the hipsters’ little darling that immediately gained a loyal following when it renovated it’s divey look in early 2009. Today the Biltmore sits a few blocks off Main Street on Kingsway – hidden from street view so you can still feel “in the know”.
Mostly, the Biltmore is dedicated to live music from smaller indie bands though, on some nights you can find comedy, live podcast tapings and amateur variety shows.
The Biltmore has a great cabaret look with warm reds and plush booths along the edges of the stage and dance floor. You can usually find a beer for under $5 which is always a crowd pleaser.
