Inside is a quaint, long and narrow dim light room with a long bar one side and tables on the other. Lolitas is a popular West End dinner spot and favorite with Vancouver foodies who appreciate the affordable and delicious adventures in food.

Subeez is a funky restaurant and bar in Yaletown. Unlike the upscale and fancy pants clubs and lounges in Yaletown, Subeez sets itself apart from the rest by showcasing intriguing local art and eclectic decor. It attracts the film industry folks, web personalities and other arty and creative types. On weekends, Subeez has djs spinning at night for a lounge setting.

Subeez has a full service kitchen offering a tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. You can come with a group of friends, grab a booth and enjoy a casual and non-pretentious atmosphere. If you’re not up for food, Subeez also has more of a lounge area in one corner, right beside the entrance, with high tables and bar stools. Red Card Sports Bar in Yaletown is an Italian owned restaurant and bar at on Smithe between Seymour and Richards. Inside, Red Card you find a ginormous bar (by Yaletown standards) with high ceilings, two levels and two separate dinning areas.

Red Card Sports Bar is one of the newest bars added to the Yaletown neighbourhood with it’s doors opening in early December 2009. Red Card Sports is definitely a welcome addition to Yaletown where it’s hard to accommodate big sports nights.

Red Card Sports has a definite sophistication with low lighting and modern furnishing. Here, you can easily impress a date and keep an eye on the game ;)

Local Public Eatery is one of the newest Kitsilano hang-outs just steps away from Kits beach. As part of Joey’s restaurant group, Local remains true to the the Joey’s reputation of serving quality food with a friendly staff.

Local Public Eatery has a warm classic dark wood charm with booth seating and a candle lit glow that makes it an easy bar to nestle into for a dark raining Vancouver night. Local features a rotation of nightly drink specials that range from $5 – $6 or you can always go with a never fail $4 glass of “secret” wine making it an affordable place to grab drinks in Kits.

Local’s flat screen tvs mounted all around the bar provides plenty of viewing options for sports. In summer, when Kits beach really shines, Local Public Eatery is the Kitsilano hot spot with open it’s garage doors and provide service on the patio for those wanting to soak up the sun.

The Libra Room on Commercial Drive is a funky and eclectic restaurant that features live music every night. If you need a jazz fix, then the Libra Room will surely solve that problem showcasing TWO jazz bands nightly. Food is served late until 12:30pm for last order and last call is at 1:00am.
