The Speakeasy on Granville is a laid back Sports Bar right in the middle of the Granville Entertainment district. Serving burgers, nachos and all the regular pub fare, the Speakeasy on Granville is a great spot to watch sports and be right where the action is for Vancouver bars nightlife.

The St Regis Bar and Grill attached to the St Regis Hotel on Dunsmuir street is a popular after work pub located right in the downtown core.

Serving up classic pub favorites and an assortment of options for the health conscious, the St Regis Bar and Grill is a great place to grab food and watch sports. Scattered around the room, the St. Regis Bar and Grill provides flat screen tvs so every seat in the house gets a good view.

Forum Sports Bar is a premier sports bar with a chic late night atmosphere. Located in the Granville Entertainment district where the old Buffalo Club once stood, Forum Sports Bar is right in the heart of Vancouver’s busy nightlife scene.

Forum Sports Bar offers a full kitchen, open for lunch daily and brunch on weekends. Forum will be showing all sports and pay-per-view games (including all UFC fights and Canucks games) on four 120 inch projector screens and fifteen 58 inch high def flat screen tvs throughout the bar.

Forum Sports Bar will be the Granville strip’s hot spot where pro athletes in town will be making appearances.

After the games are done, Forum will offer night club entertainment with a dance floor and resident DJ Storm.

The Sunset Grill

The Sunset Grill is a local Kits Sports Bar just a few blocks from Kits beach. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and beer on tap, it’s a bar of choice for the Kits locals to watch the canucks game and other popular sporting events.

On Fridays and Saturdays The Sunset Grill is open to 2am providing a nice place to stay out late in Kitsilano neighbourhood which typically tends to shut down early.

On weekends, The Sunset Grill is great for brunch where there’s usually no wait and the staff are always friendly!

Falconetti’s is small and friendly neighborhood bar on Commercial drive. The bar opens to a narrow corridor with sets of tall 2-person tables on one side and bar on the other side. Follow to the back and you’ll find a room for bigger groups to enjoy food and live music showcased on a small stage. On canuck nights, Falconetti’s lowers a big screen for everyone to catch the action.

The Pirate Pub

The Pirate Pub is a great little bar located right on the seawalll under the Burrard bridge. Formerly Fiddlehead Joe’s, the Pirate Pub is one of the only places in all of Vancouver where you can have a drink on the waterfront, sitting on False Creek. The aqua-bus is steps away for a 5 minute hop over to Granville Island. From the Pirate Pub, you can follow the seawall to Stanley Park in one direction or Yaletown, the Olympic Village, Granville Island and Kits in the other.

Walkers, cyclists and rollerbladers pass by the bar with floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the outside view. On a summer day, the Pirate Pub patio can’t be beat!

In winter, the Pirate Pub quiets down without all the tourists and summer traffic but you can head down to the pub for a chill place to watch the canucks with drink specials most nights of the week. At night, it still has it’s charm with the view of Granville Island and lights from the moored boats beside.

On weekends, you can stroll down to the Pirate Pub for a brunch.

Red Card Sports Bar

Red Card Sports Bar in Yaletown is an Italian owned restaurant and bar at on Smithe between Seymour and Richards. Inside, Red Card you find a ginormous bar (by Yaletown standards) with high ceilings, two levels and two separate dinning areas.

Red Card Sports Bar is one of the newest bars added to the Yaletown neighbourhood with it’s doors opening in early December 2009. Red Card Sports is definitely a welcome addition to Yaletown where it’s hard to accommodate big sports nights.

Red Card Sports has a definite sophistication with low lighting and modern furnishing. Here, you can easily impress a date and keep an eye on the game ;)
