Strathcona

You are here: Home  > Strathcona
The Strathcona neighbourhood is where you'll see a lot of fun and hipster inhabited venues. The main night scene in Strathcona is along Main street where there are some live music venues, bars and pubs open until late. Near the Hastings and main area, the area is inhabited by the city's lower income and you'll often see drug addicted residents wandering the streets. In recent years, with the revitalization of gastown right beside this area and local business' that also have initiatives to help with some of problems in the downtown eastside, it's an area in transition and not one to avoid.
