Main Street is the epicentre of hipster in Vancouver. You'll see lots of fixie bikes outside and dark rimmed glasses inside. Plenty of places to grab a bit on Main street but for mainly drinks, you'll want to stick closer to Main between 12th-ish and Kingsway.

    Army Navy & Airforce Veterans Unit 298

    The Army, Navy and Airforce Unit on Main street has become a popular destination on Main street with it’s cheap drinks, games and Saturday night Karaoke. Because of it’s popularity the club has starting enforcing it’s membership policies so you may have to pay a small fee to gain entrance but well worth the membership privileges! Also, members are allowed to bring guests.
