The Honey Lounge is located right on the edge of Gastown, blocks from Chinatown and north Main street. The locale attracts a young and hip crowd that love to find a venue a little off the beaten track. Inside, the look is classy and ballroom-esque with red velvet booths, gold trims, warm “honey” colored walls and elegant chandeliers. The music can vary from oldies to hip hop to local bands. They also serve food earlier in the evening. Though today it’s not always consistent with attracting a crowd – their Friday “Mod Night” plays 50s and 60s music that can be a fun change typical bar dance scene!
