    The Whip

    The Whip is a local Strathcona area hangout serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The main eating area has a mix of seating areas to serve groups big and small. They have a nice upstairs loft that’s perfect for a large group. On the walls, you’ll see art from local artists. In the front, is their bar with a couple of smaller tables for those just looking for drinks. As you might expect from the Strathcona, the vibe is laid back and hip.

    The Waldorf

    The Waldorf reinvented itself in 2010 as a cultural hub in east Vancouver. Hosting club nights, dance parties, trivia, bingo and hosting a number of events, the Waldorf is always buzzing. Start off the night with a bit to eat in their restaurant, wander between their two clubs and end off the night in their tiki bar!

    The Union restaurant and bar serves up food 7 days a week and stays open until 12am on weekends. Food is southeast asian and for drinks you have the option of wine, beer or cocktails.

    The Union also serves brunch from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays!

    The Main is a long time neighbourhood hangout (since 1997). Primarily a restaurant during the week with entertainment Thursday through Sunday. Inside is a rustic feel with warehouse height ceilings. Also a great place to watch sports with large HD tvs.
