    The Whip

    The Whip is a local Strathcona area hangout serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The main eating area has a mix of seating areas to serve groups big and small. They have a nice upstairs loft that’s perfect for a large group. On the walls, you’ll see art from local artists. In the front, is their bar with a couple of smaller tables for those just looking for drinks. As you might expect from the Strathcona, the vibe is laid back and hip.

    Local Public Eatery is a neighbourhood hang out. A perfect spot to grab dinner, watch the game or hit the patio after spending the day at the beach (perfect location from kits beach across the street). Inside is a sports pub with a little more fitness. I always found the staff to be great here too.
