Charlie’s in Yaletown provides a spacious and intimate dining area with character. Just steps from the Canada line, Charlie’s is a nice place in Yaletown to venture to for those wanting and affordable dinner in a stylish setting.

At Charlie’s you have the option of a seat at the bar, cozy booths, lounge sofas or the communal family table. With pizzas and sampler plates, Charlie’s encourages to share with friends and even make some new ones. I had a change to sample several of Charlie’s pizzas and you really can’t go wrong!

A trendy restaurant and lounge, Society Dining Lounge serves up elegant comfort food attracting appealing to yuppies from all over. Society’s website describes themselves as “A dining lounge where comfortable meets chic, warmth meets undeniable cool, light humour meets dark sensuality.”

Inside, Society Dining Lounge is quaint lounge contained in one small but spacious room with an impressive giant pink chandelier that centers the room. Outside, heated lamps provide a warm patio to enjoy a meal or sip on drinks. Society’s layout is much like Glowba (another popular Yaletown hot spot just a few blocks away) which makes sense – it being the latest addition to the Glowbal Group’s collection of restaurants and lounges.

Society Dining Lounge is a short distance from Davie Street down the cobbled stoned walkway on Hamilton at Drake. Makes for an elegant and classy night out in Yaletown!
